Cloudhopper Gallery Pebble Painting Workshop July 13th 2013

Local artist, David Shannon brings his expertise and enthusiasm to Cloudhopper Creative Space this Saturday (13th July) with his ever popular pebble painting workshop for children & families. 
You & your children will love taking everyday stones and pebbles from our local beach and transforming them into beautiful works of art that can be taken home to enjoy.

Just remember our dedicated arts workshop 2 minutes from the beach and in the heart of town could be just the COOL retreat this Saturday for all those pink lobstered bodies. Look forward to seeing you there !!

Workshops run from 10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm this Saturday 13th July 2013 
Cost £3.00 per person per session. Children to be accompanied by a consenting adult

The Summer Show comes to town this weekend

Some of the best regional West Sussex and South-coast artistic talent is on display from this weekend at Bognor Regis' first and brand new dedicated visual arts facility, Cloudhopper Gallery & Creative Space.

The show starts on Saturday 6th July and runs for two weeks showcasing an eclectic blend of contemporary art.  The Gallery is located in the heart Bognor Regis and has a range of new exciting events and exhibitions programmed for the following 12 months.

 

Drifwood & Found Objects - Creative Family Workshop

Looking for something to do with the family in Bognor Regis & West Sussex this coming weekend ?

Then Look no further as local Elmer based artist, Rita Herbert brings her expertise and enthusiasm to Cloudhopper Creative Space this Saturday (6th July) with a driftwood and found objects workshop for children & families. 

Allow your children to discover their creative side and let them explore the varied methods and techniques of turning flotsam, jetsam, found objects and driftwood into simple and beautiful works of art that you children can be truly proud of.

 Workshops run from 10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm this Saturday 6th July 2013
Cost £3.00 per person per session.

 

Open Summer Show 2013 @ Cloudhopper Gallery and Creative Space

This summer, Cloudhopper Gallery & Creative Spaces opens its doors for its inaugural summer show. We are inviting artists and makers to submit two pieces of work in any medium, which if selected will be exhibited in the gallery for two weeks in July and made available for sale to the public. The work will be non-commissionable, there is no fee for artists to submit. A small discretionary donation would be accepted by Cloudhopper's on any sold work. Open Creative Spaces Meeting @ Cloudhopper 12/06/13 7pm

Bognor Regis' first dedicated visual arts venue opens its doors for the first time to invite local artists and makers to discuss local events, creative happenings and chat with like minded people who share an interest in visual arts and creative making. Cloudhopper.....whiter than white (almost)

Work continues at Cloudhopper's this morning as contractors Sussex Renovations are plastering and painting the three main spaces.  Some interesting discoveries have meant floors and walls have had additional, unforeseen work but as you can see from the pics things are starting to take shape with a nice white, classic gallery look coming through.

 

Mad Hatters Tea Party 1st April 2013

Some great photo's of CABR's Mad Hatters Tea Party which took place on the 1st April.  The event encouraged youngsters from the area to take part in Cake and Hat making as well as providing some tasty distractions made by the group members.  The event is the last to take place before CABR open the Cloudhopper Gallery in the High Street in Bognor Regis in June and raised close to £400.00 with over 80 children taking part across the day.
